My birthday wish for all today,
I hope that it will be okay.
Is for God to come to my party
So He can share the day with me.
I’ll have a party that’s really fun.
We’ll laugh and joke and skip and run.
We’ll play baseball, He’ll use my mit.
But…I wonder if it is going to fit.
No cake so sweet or presents so grand
As God right here to hold my hand.
And Jesus too, make no mistake.
Maybe they could share my cake.
And you come too with all of us
I’m sure my mom won’t make a fuss
Though we’ll have to make more food
We wouldn’t want to be at all rude
When your heart is full of love,
God comes down from up above.
So I’ll save the biggest chair of all
Since I heard He’s very tall.
I can’t wait ’til He comes here.
I will give a great big cheer.
We’ll all have the bestest time today;
And maybe He’ll decide to stay.
